This male Black Labrador Retriever puppy has the sleek, glossy black coat, sturdy build and soft, kind eyes that have made the Lab one of America's favorite family dogs for decades. Labs are friendly, outgoing and eager to be involved in everything their family does, and he already shows that warm, easygoing nature.
Energetic and athletic, he will grow into a dog who loves swimming, fetching and long walks. A fenced yard and daily exercise will keep him happy and well behaved, and he gets along wonderfully with children, other dogs and visitors.
His short double coat is easy to maintain with a weekly brush and a little extra attention during shedding season. Highly trainable and very food motivated, he responds quickly to positive reinforcement and early socialization, and he will become a loyal, dependable companion for an active household.
